The Katsina State Enterprise Development Agency (KASEDA) has officially released the list of beneficiaries for the ₦50,000 Student Vendor Support Grant, following the successful 2nd Students’ CEOs Trade Fair held on 20 November 2025.

A total of 70 outstanding student entrepreneurs were selected to receive the grant, bringing the total disbursement to ₦3.5 million. The financial support is aimed at strengthening student-owned businesses, encouraging innovation, and helping young entrepreneurs scale their ventures into sustainable enterprises.

The Students’ CEOs Trade Fair was organized in commemoration of the International Students’ Day Celebration by the Office of the Special Assistant to the Governor on Student Matters, Muhammad Nuhu Nagaske, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders. The event brought together vibrant student-led businesses from across Katsina State, providing a platform for young entrepreneurs to showcase their ideas and products.

KASEDA participated actively in the programme as part of its mandate to promote entrepreneurship, innovation, and youth-driven economic development. During the event, the agency pledged a support grant of ₦50,000 each to 70 outstanding student vendors, a commitment it has now fulfilled.

The agency has confirmed that the final list of beneficiaries has been approved and released, and all selected vendors are advised to check their bank accounts for the disbursement. According to KASEDA, this intervention reflects the Katsina State Government’s continued commitment to empowering students and young entrepreneurs through practical financial support, rather than words alone.

KASEDA also appreciated the collaboration with the Office of the Special Assistant on Student Matters and all partners who contributed to the success of the 2nd Students’ CEOs Trade Fair. The agency reaffirmed its commitment to supporting initiatives that create opportunities, build capacity, and drive inclusive economic growth across Katsina State.
